Let us take the example of attracting wealth into our lives. If we have been told by parents, teachers or other important people in our lives such things as “money is the root of all evil” or “wealth isn’t for the likes of us” etc. we will almost certainly not have a wealth consciousness. For us to attract wealth we would be going against our subconscious beliefs and that’s unlikely to happen. Why? Simply because our subconscious mind is far more powerful than our conscious mind and is there to protect us from doing things it believes will harm us.

If our belief is that having wealth is wrong the subconscious will seek to stop us getting it or if we do somehow manage to attain prosperity we will soon try to sabotage ourselves and get rid of it. One of the very best ways to get around this problem of the subconscious stopping you manifest your desires is to use EFT to remove the block.

With EFT all you have to do is locate the problem and measure it in terms of the strength of your belief and then tap on various acupressure points to remove it. While that may sound complicated it is in fact a very straightforward process and very, very effective in removing whatever is holding you back.

The whole process of using EFT to help with manifesting desires is very straightforward. You simply have to decide what it is that is sabotaging you when you attempt to attract abundance using the law of attraction. If like many of us you’re not actually sure what it is that’s causing the blockage in your wealth consciousness that is not a problem. All you need to do in that case is word your tapping phrases on a more general basis until you can get down to the core issue.

Once you can find that core issue you simply use a couple of rounds of tapping on the recommended acupressure points and measure your results on a scale of 0 to 10. With each round of EFT tapping you will find that your measurement falls lower and lower until you reach zero. At that point you will have succeeded at removing your blockage. Eventually, you will find that manifesting desires can be incredibly simple and straightforward.

The only drawback to “The Science of Getting Rich” is that Mr Wattles did not have all the great discoveries to work with that any law of attraction practitioner has now. He wasn’t aware of things which today we just take for granted such as creative visualization, NLP, gratitude journaling and EFT.
